Disaster Supply Kit

Having a disaster supply kit is of utmost importance when preparing for any emergencies. In addition to making a family disaster plan, you must also have supplies on hand to last each person at least three to five days.

It’s a simple, low-cost, and important step in being prepared. For Starters get;

  • Some Cash
  • One gallon water per person per day
  • Canned or packaged food
  • Battery-powered radio
  • First aid kit
  • Flashlight
  • Manual can opener
  • Extra batteries
  • Toiletries
  • Blankets or sleeping bags
  • Prescription medications
  • Special items for infant, elderly or disabled members of the household
